Bolder Boulder

Pikes Peak Elite runners took on the hilly Bolder Boulder 10k road race on Memorial Day. Ben Payne took home the victory in a time of 30 minutes, 41.25 seconds. Jeremy Drenckhahn finished 12th overall in 31:45 followed by Chris Rego in 43rd place.

It was a special win for Payne who had written on his bib number the names of friends and family who lost their lives serving our country. This was his 12th time racing the Bolder Boulder, which he claims to be his favorite road race of the year.
