Pikes Peak Elite had a great day full of PR’s at the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in Duluth Minnesota on Saturday. Ben Payne led the way, sprinting to a third place finish in 1:03:10, a PR. It was the closest finish in the history of the race and there were only eight hundredths of a second between the top 3 finishers. Matt Williams finished 19th in 1:05:56 followed by Jeremy Drenckhahn who ran a PR of 1:06:16. In the women’s race, Katherine Ward finished 12th with a new personal best of 1:18:38.
